As in previous ISHHR conferences, we will be seeking to part subsidise attendance for a limited number of colleagues. These colleagues will come from developing nations and would otherwise be unable to attend the event.

Funding
The funding for this project will come from fundraising efforts by some partner organisations, as well as by direct requests for support to relevant institutions around the world.
The number of scholarships available will depend on fundraising efforts, and the applicants will be chosen by a formal panel of ISHHR directors. ISHHR hopes to fund at least 50 attendees, subject to funding availability.

You may nominate yourself by making a formal application as outlined below.
You may nominate someone else by emailing conference@ishhr.com with their details. It is also advised that you inform the nominee about application procedures.
What does the scholarship cover?
- Conference and pre-conference workshop attendance
- Travel expenses (total or partial).
- Accommodation expenses (total or partial) for the duration of the event. The level of scholarships will be decided on a case by case basis.
Criteria for applicants
The applicant must:
- Currently reside and work in a Low or Lower Middle Income Nation, as currently classified by the World Bank. (http://www.worldbank.org)
- Be currently active in a non-government organisation (NGO) working in the field of mental health and human rights.
- Be well established in the field with a solid track record.
- Have the proven ability through past experiences to disseminate the information and skills that will be acquired at the conference.
- Give a presentation that is relevant to the theme of the conference and their past experience.
- Be able to present their chosen topic in either English or Spanish, as these are the official languages of the conference.
